Temporary Housing First Programme Manager

LCRCARecruitment – Posted by LCRCARecruitment Liverpool, England, United Kingdom

Job Description

Housing First Programme Manager – Fixed Term 23 months

Salary – £53,976 – £64,072

The Liverpool City Region is one of just three areas in the country piloting Housing First at scale, using a different approach to end repeat and chronic homelessness. In Housing First, people are not expected to be “tenancy ready” before they are offered a home. Housing first support provides individual, intensive support to deal with mental and physical health issues such as addiction and the effects of trauma and abuse. The One-to-one unconditional support is based on the seven Housing First principles.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead, manage and deliver this important programme.

You will have practical experience of managing a high-profile programme and leading at an operational level in ensuring programme targets and milestones are delivered to agreed timescales. You will lead on LCRCA’s relationship with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities on Housing First related issues, including requirements of national evaluations and ensure the programme delivers a high quality service against the contractual targets of the funders.

We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting the aims of the Combined Authority, who are self-starting, highly motivated, passionate about shaping the future of the city region, and show a willingness to go the extra mile.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is committed to having a workforce that is representative of the communities we serve.  To this end, we particularly welcome applicants from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Backgrounds,  who have a disability or are members of the Armed Forces, Reservists or Veterans.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
