Hourly Paid Assessor/Marker
£14.54 – £15.50 per hour
The working pattern is variable, dependent on course enrolment
Various weeks per annum
Fixed term until 30th September 2024
Start date: as soon as possible
We are inviting applications for Assessors to support learners and mark assignment work on our Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems. Learning is self-directed via an online learning portal that learners also use to submit assignments for marking. Assessors provide one-to-one support where required and host online group tutorials termly.
A recognised qualification related to mental health at Level 2 or above, is essential for this role. An Assessors’ qualification would be beneficial but not essential. You must be knowledgeable and passionate about the subject area.
This is a remote role but on occasion you may be required to attend meetings and training on site (Abingdon campus).

Qualifications:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Mental Health or a related qualification.
- Previous experience in assessment and marking within a similar educational context would be beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
