Hourly Paid Art & Design Technician
£11.50 -12.28 per hour
Various hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled hourly paid Art and Design Technician who wants to work in a role where there is plenty of opportunities to apply their planning, organisational and communication skills. The Art and Design Technician will be responsible for supporting the delivery of Art and Design across our Level 1 to Foundation Diploma courses, by providing support to students and lecturers, preparing resources for lessons and maintaining the tools and equipment needed for successful teaching of Art and Design disciplines. There are opportunities across both our campuses to work within the Art and Design teams.
The ability to be able to support and advise teachers and students on the use of workshop tools, including drilling, cutting and forming 3D outcomes and to maintain a variety of equipment used in these workshops would be desirable. An understanding of using computer software to support our students would also be an advantage.
The postholder will also act as a first aider, previous experience is desirable but training will also be available. Above all, we need someone committed to supporting our young people and helping us be an extraordinary curriculum area within the college, striving for excellence in everything we do.
