Full-Time Hiring Fulltime Chef
Job Description
Sunrise Bar and Grill located at 1416 Victoria Park Avenue, Toronto Ontario M4A 2M1 is Hiring a Chef Permanent Full-Time Position at $20.50/Hr. at 40 hours per week.
Duties Include:
- Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks and other kitchen workers
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
- Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods, such as pastries, sauces, soups, salads, vegetables and meat, poultry and fish dishes, and create decorative food displays for special events such as banquets
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
- Create new recipes
- May plan menus and requisition food and kitchen supplies
- May prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
- May requisition food and kitchen supplies.
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- May clean kitchen and work area
Requirements:
Completion of high school
Must have a minimum of at least 2 years’ experience in cooking or similar culinary job field.
Fluent in Speaking Albanian an Asset
Must Speak, Read and Write minimal English
