Position Purpose
This position reports to the Associate Director for Intercollegiate Athletics and is part of the Student Wellness, Recreation, and Athletics team. The position requires an understanding of and commitment to the values of The Evergreen State College and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). This position is responsible for building and sustaining a quality, competitive intercollegiate women’s soccer program, which focuses on the development of student-athletes and supports the mission of the college. The incumbent plans and conducts all activities of the intercollegiate soccer program, including recruiting, scheduling, fundraising, alumni relations, and student-athlete mentoring (academic, physical, emotional, and social components). The position contributes to the overall success of the Athletics Program, and the larger division of Student and Academic Life through the support and development of student-athletes.
This is a part-time .55 FTE (22 hours per week), overtime-exempt position on the Olympia campus of The Evergreen State College. This position is exempt from Washington State Civil Service rules and the Fair Labor Standards Act overtime requirements.
Salary and Benefits: $2,401.85 – $2,858.35 per month of part-time work + excellent benefits including paid sick and vacation leave; paid campus holidays; a generous medical, dental, life, and disability insurance package; and a tuition waiver program.
