About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a pro-active, highly motivated individual with experience of managing a successful team and a high level of internal and external relationship management skills to join the University’s Marketing and Communications department. You will develop and deliver the Schools and Colleges Liaison Strategy that aligns with the University’s Student Recruitment strategy to increase applications and enrolments to the University.

Working closely with the wider department, including Associate Directors and Strategic Business Partners you will develop strategies to create and sustain long-term, robust relationships with influencers in schools and colleges nationally to raise the profile of the University, Derby City, courses and our successes to support the University’s recruitment targets.

A customer service ethos which matches the University’s values and behaviours is essential; outstanding leadership and management, communication, persuasion and influencing skills are a must, as is a passion for continuous improvement and a determination for excellence.

£46,147 To £57,684 per annum (for exceptional performers, there is scope for further progression up to £66,337 per annum)

If you are successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The post for which you are applying is exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 requiring any spent convictions to be declared.
