About the role

Job type: fixed-term contract until end of March 2022 but with possible 12 months extension to be confirmed.

Working hours: full-time (35 hours per week)

Salary: £24,000-28,000 (dependent on experience)

Location: Reading (with flexibility for remote working)

We are going through an exciting period of growth at Education Development Trust, and currently seeking a Grants & Operations Coordinator to join a new Pilot Project. Reporting into the Programme Manager, the Grants & Operations Coordinator will coordinate the grant process, including liaison with and advising selected organisations, monitoring performance and award-compliance, and providing regular reports.

To be successful in this role you will:

– have knowledge of grant awards processes and systems
– have knowledge and understanding of project management processes
– have experience in project coordination
– have experience of financial reporting and processes
– have strong organisational skills to ensure that activities are planned and
delivered effectively
– have excellent oral and written communication skills
– have strong stakeholder liaison and interpersonal skills
