Full-Time Grants Coordinator

This role will ideally be located in Denver, CO (other locations will be considered depending on the candidate). This position will focus on prospecting, researching, and prioritizing grant opportunities as well as on grants-related administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prospect and evaluate new grant opportunities for specific locations, states, and regions to both sustain and expand Phoenix programs; build a national, regional, and local pipeline
- Conduct foundation research and create engagement plans
- Manage grant application calendar and collaborate with program staff to compile grant report information
- Work across teams to ensure timely grant application submission
- Draft grant reports
- Schedule and attend meetings for and on behalf of the grants team
- Perform data entry for all components of grant lifecycle
- Draft letters of intent and provide editing support
- Complete other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent administrative skills
- 2+ years’ relevant experience
- Significant experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills and ability to relate to people from all walks of life
- Entrepreneurial spirit, humility, and integrity
PREFERENCES
- Lived experience as a peer in recovery or close personal connection to our mission
- Background in grant writing or interest in pursuing a career in grant writing
- Experience prospecting, researching, and reporting on grants
- Experience working with nonprofits
