Salary: $35,984 – $52,177
Job Description:
- Maintain budgetary and accountability control over the Restricted Fund group including:
- Assist with the development of the Annual Budget.
- Post approved budgets, budget amendments and financial transactions.
- Review and approve travel, credit card transactions, and requisitions.
- Provide administrative support to Program Managers to include official correspondence and invoicing.
- Prepare and post routine journal entries related to administrative/indirect costs.
- Prepare all required federal, state, local, grantor and internal reports including annual SEFA.
- Respond to internal and external audit requests.
- Prepare monthly Board of Trustee materials as assigned.
- Serve as participating member of the college’s Grant Committee.
- Prepare indirect cost rate proposals.
- Plan, coordinate, and provide NWFSC training in Banner Finance in counsel with Assistant Controller.
- Serve as backup for Accountants of other Fund groups as needed.
- As a part of the college’s risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director of Finance and Accounting or the Vice President for Business Operations and Finance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other Business related field with a minor in Accounting required.
- Two years’ experience in accounting field required.
- Experience in higher education or governmental counting preferred.
- Previous experience and knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Technical proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, act independently, work well with others.
