WorldStrides ISA Custom Programs
WorldStrides programs are customized group travel experiences offered to the university and graduate-level students. These programs combine safety, integrity, and educational value to create unique global education experiences.
WorldStrides programs works specifically with EMBA, MBA, and international programs offices or study abroad offices and administrators to design short-term, educational journeys to more than 105 countries spanning six continents. Our programs focus primarily on cultivating college students’ learning through a global perspective, linking their area of study to today’s global environment. In this capacity, the Graduate Program Development Manager will build relationships with key university decision makers across varying graduate disciplines, as assigned by territory.
Position Objectives
o Generate new accounts in the university educational travel industry primarily derived from consultative sales calls. Work with prospects/clients through phone, email, conferences, and campus visits to develop an international education program aligned properly with the goals and objectives of the program leader.
o Work with Program Development Specialist team to develop itineraries and proposals upon request through prospecting and lead generation.
o Work effectively with internal departments including Air, Visas, Operations, Pricing, Account Management, and Global Academic team.
o Maintain and update company database to reflect accurate account activities daily.
o Provide weekly reporting detailing proposal building, pipeline development, and sales call activities.
Sales Skills and Core Responsibilities
o Meet and exceed annual sales goals and targets in order to maximize revenue growth.
o Identify new prospects and work 100.0% of territory assigned to identify new prospects.
o Develop an effective rapport with clients to gain a better understanding of their international study abroad programs and needs.
o Apply consultative selling to maximize the international education destination program.
o Utilize and maintain WorldStrides’ CRM effectively managing the sales process with detailed notes and timely updates regarding sales cycle steps.
o Demonstrate continued success in managing a pipeline from initial contact to closure.
o Communicate both internally across teams and externally with prospects, clients, and partners.

o Must be able to travel domestically and internationally. Must be able to drive an automobile. Some lifting required while attending conferences.
Requirements
o University or four year college degree required.
o Master’s degree preferred.
o 7 to 10 years of professional services experience with experience in higher education field
o 4+ years of sales experience preferred.
o International travel experience preferred.
o Proven ability to build relationships, establish trust and identify sales opportunities
o Confidence to set-up and execute on campus meetings with key decision makers.
o Excellent consultative sales skills, organizational skills, computer, and presentation skills.
o Strong work ethic and attention to program details such as dates, inclusions and pricing.
o Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
o Strong understanding and demonstrated use of a CRM, preferably Microsoft Office Dynamics.
o Ability to extend time commitment during the peak fall and spring selling seasons or as needed for special sales projects.
o Ability to travel – will attend multiple conference and school visits throughout the year.
