The Purpose:
The main purpose of the role is to lead the implementation and delivery of the Goalkeeping Redprint coaching programme within the Girls Emerging Talent Centre. Working with all goalkeepers aged 8 to 15 the aim is to ensure that all female goalkeepers learn, improve, develop their confidence, and enjoy their sessions.

This new role is a key function within the girl’s youth development pathway which has the vision of creating the most successful talent development programme within girl’s football by revolutionising the way the game is learnt and played.
The coach must be available to work as a minimum on a Friday evening at Eccles Sixth Form College between 5.30pm and 8.30pm.

- Understanding of Safeguarding best practice
- Knowledge of implementing policies and procedures especially health and safety and risk assessments.
Knowledge
- Of the Women and Girls game
- Goalkeeping principles
Experience
- Delivering goalkeeper specific sessions to a range of age groups
Skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire female footballers.
- Deliver professional and high quality goalkeeper sessions
Qualifications
- Goalkeeping Coaching award
- Emergency First Aid in Football qualification
- Valid Safeguarding Children certificate.
- FA Youth Modules (Desirable)
