Full-Time Global Sales & Service Specialist
Job Description
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a high-level support to global customer accounts while maintaining direct contact with Darigold ID Sales team. The key duties and responsibilities of this role include
- Build functionality and maintenance of applications used within the Ingredients Division.
- Customer on-boarding include creating customer profiles for sales and trade execution, payment terms, customer specification knowledge, pricing mechanisms expert.
- Contract Life-cycle Management (CLM) best practice to include contract execution, signature approval, customer purchase agreement alignment, contract maintenance
- Performance measurements (external/internal) with action and response
- Provide resolution and/or follow up on customer inquiries and requirements by maintaining effective working relationship with internal and external business partners.
- Build relationships with national and global customers. Providing support to ID Sales and Trade Execution by acting as a customer liaison; promptly resolving customer concerns.
- App Management to include Darigold CRM, customer portals and other Darigold technical platforms. providing support to the ID sales staff by acting as a customer liaison; promptly resolving customer concerns.
- In-country compliance to include product registration and plant approvals
- Other sales support duties include handling and executing customer samples, arrange plant tours, assist with data collection for presentations.
- Host and/or participate in weekly ID Sales meetings and conference calls, some based on region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned):
- Master data steward
- Enters, confirms, updates the customer contracts and orders in multiple technical
- Monitors and maintains purchase orders in numerous supplier portals
- Collaborates with other departments to find solutions.
- Resolves customer questions relating to orders as needed
- Resolves customer concerns and coordinate with customer to resolve payment discrepancies
- Acts as the point of contact for customer inquiries and requests for assigned products
- Sets up and manages pricing in Oracle 11i system as dictated by account contract
- Maintains and distributes product specification and certification records
- Performs special projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Issue credits to customers as defined by the delegation of authority
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Desire to learn new software and applications
Education, Experience and Certifications:
- Domestic and International account management and/or order fulfillment preferred
- 2+ years of experience in customer service
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3 – 5 years of customer service/account management experience in lieu of
- Experience with Oracle 11i application or other order management software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Salesforce Super User Champion
