As the Global Corporate Engagement Administrator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and engage in necessary research (such as finding corporate policies and company contacts) that enables global corporate relations and campaigns. We are only able to consider applicants who reside and possess work authorization in the Eastern and Central time zones of the United States, or United Kingdom.

- Update and maintain our commitment tracking database by transferring and fact-checking data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. This data is put into the tracker, checked for errors, and proofread. Update and maintain other tracking documents, like policy information, corporate contacts, and translations so progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
- Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work (tracking relevant information related to every country’s cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, etc).
- Work with the Open Wing Alliance to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups worldwide can leverage commitments in their region.
- Attend meetings with corporations as needed to take notes that support the team in crafting their corporate relations strategy.
- Like every member of Global Corporate Engagement, this role will be involved in strategy-setting, specifically bringing a data lens to inform our decisions.
- Independently perform research to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brands portfolio, locations worldwide, etc.
- Assist in fielding campaign-related questions from OWA members on Slack (our communication platform) and maintaining the OWA Action App as needed to support campaigners.
- Refining our list of hundreds of global companies to select the top ~100 to focus our attention. Annually updating our data on ~100 top global companies, including revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, etc.
- Attend international conferences, events, and protests as required and able to provide support.
- Lead administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation.
- Create presentations for others with options to co-lead and provide tech support in hosting corporate engagement webinars for the Open Wing Alliance.
- Provide training to new team members on our data processes, research techniques, and other applicable systems and resources.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Global Corporate Engagement.

- Critical Thinking and Research: Able to perform basic research on companies such as their revenue, locations, existing animal welfare commitments, executive team, contact info, and other related information. Brings creativity and tenacity when looking for hard-to-find information.
- Tech savvy: High proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, Powerpoint, Google Docs. It’s less important that you know how to do everything right away, and more important that you pick up new software fairly quickly, are able to self-learn, and use Google to troubleshoot.
