General Manager of Guest Experience – Asheville
This position is responsible for creating, directing and maintaining a high value, on premise, guest experience, through the leadership and management of the Liquid Center teams.
Essential Duties:
- Executes strategic priorities, departmental goals, initiatives, and performance work objectives management
- Responsible for achieving goals as assigned and aligned with Strategic priorities; win CO, driving revenue, traffic, programming, tours, etc.
- Oversees and approves LCIIIs, in-house events, staff scheduling, and temp labor use
- Oversees and reports on budgeting and department finances; with P & L accountability, forecasting, and performance against plan
- Oversees retail and merchandise strategy
- Actively Oversees staff hiring and performance; provide training/mentoring
- Integrates National & Local Sales and Branding campaigns into the liquid center aesthetic and brewery experience
- Upholds legal requirements and ensure safety of guests
- Active member of the Liquid Center
- Other duties as assigned; Project management, proactive facilitation of projects, maintain facilities, and
- Maintain community relationships with Buckingham neighborhood and homeless outreach
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- Four years of team management and customer service experience
- Thorough knowledge of all NBB brands, history, process, culture, and the beer industry
- In depth knowledge of marketing/branding practices and procedures at NBB
- In depth knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of financial statements
- Advanced verbal and written communication and public speaking skills
- Thorough understanding of legal requirements for serving alcohol
- Knowledgeable in brewing processes and NBB beers
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs. 10 inches and carry up to 40 lbs 100 feet.
- Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases.
- Must also show fine motor dexterity.
- Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead.
- The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Salary Range: $60,000.00 – $69,000.00
