Work shift (days/times) – 3rd shift (10:00pm- 6:30am)
Training cycle:
1 – 2 months will be administered :Monday – Friday on 1st shift (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) or 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
Required Qualifications:
• Ability to compliantly follow standard lab protocols in a production manufacturing, team environment.
• Ability to understand and compliantly follow process work instructions/operation method sheets in order to achieve desired product specification outputs.
• Desirable but not required to have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Working knowledge of Microsoft windows and MS office applications.
• Strong attention to detail – defect recognition skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as needed by business.

Client Healthcare North Greenbush produces Flexible printed circuits and Digital X-ray Detectors for mammography, vascular, and industrial applications. The Client digital flat-panel detectors are a critical component of X-ray systems and are designed to provide outstanding image quality and efficiency.
Flex Manufacturing Technician
General Responsibilities / Duties
Description:
• From detailed instructions, set up or modify equipment, calibrate and operate equipment.
• Perform routine experiments and troubleshooting activities in support of Flex Line operations; adjust variables as directed, observe and record specified data, and bring irregularities to the attention of the supervisor or area engineer
• Work with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency
• Responsible for the maintenance of standard equipment.
• Accurately record and maintain specified data
• Work cooperatively with team members, engineers, supervisors, and managers
• Comply with all environmental health and safety, quality, and regulatory policies and procedures
• Use Lean & Six Sigma tools to improve established processes and metrics in daily work and completes DMAIC Green Belt. Participates in Action Workouts
• With limited guidance, authors new OMS works instructions, Out of Control Action Plan, Changes Notices and Routes documentation in MyWorkshop.
Qualifications:
• High school or GED
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for a career in technology or engineering
• Knowledge and understanding of production process, work instructions, documentation configuration control, non-conforming & rework documentation requirements and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specification.
Preferred Qualifications:
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science or at least 2 years working experience working in a technical field.
Cleanroom /controlled environment experience
Chemical handling experience
