Part-Time Fundraise for the DNC

Do you believe in democracy? Enraged at recent Supreme Court rulings? Tired of gun violence and anti-choice legislation? Use your passion for politics to inspire others!!
NEEDED – enthusiastic candidates with knowledge of current events for our Political Phone Fundraising Team. Now seeking articulate, professional, enthusiastic callers/salespeople to join our highly successful fundraising campaign on behalf of the Democratic National Committee. Previous political fundraising experience is a plus – but will train the right match! MUST be comfortable asking for $5,000 or more.
JOB PROFILE:
- Calling prior Democratic Party donors to secure gifts over the phone for the 2024 election-cycle
- Part-time : a minimum of 20 hours a week
- Shift schedule: Mon-Thurs 4-9pm, Fri-Sat 11am-3pm EST. Please note, these are Eastern Time Zone times.
- Pay is a base wage of $13 per hour, plus 3% commission on all credit card gifts received. You are guaranteed to earn the state minimum wage. An average successful caller makes between $20- $25/hr in total. Bonuses for large gifts!
- Mandatory paid training — Mondays from 3-9pm EST
- Fully remote — all calling is done virtually through your laptop/computer, no in-person meetings are ever required
- No cold calling — all leads are generated by the DNC and made up of prior/lapsed donors
REQUIREMENTS:
- knowledge of current events and US politics
- successful sales and/or fundraising background; an ability to close sales and make money (must be comfortable asking for at least $5k)
- computer savvy with proficiency on multiple softwares/platforms
- an ability to follow directions and convincingly read from a script, and discuss the state of American politics with strangers
- high-quality customer service attitude
- must be a US Citizen and working from one of the following states: NY, NJ, CT, MA, IL, or CA
