Our Inn on Woodlake team leads a serene, boutique-style hotel along the shores of picturesque Wood Lake, offering state-of-the-art meeting space and multibedroom suites. Specific responsibilities as a Front Desk Coordinator include: - Providing prompt, courteous and professional guest service in the functions of
registration, guest departure, cashiering, reservations and information at The Inn on Woodlake with a cohesive relationship with all front of house staff in the Rooms division. - Maintain the smooth operation of each shift at the front desk and initiate programs and policies to ensure guest patronage.
- Ensuring that the hotel standards are met through service observations of Front Desk
team consistently. - Coaching cashiering errors as outlined by Accounting department, provide
disciplinary action when appropriate. - Having a clear understanding of daily yield strategies and the proper execution of those strategies to maximize average daily revenue.
- Calling any guests in advance that may be a good fit for upgrading prior to arrival or that may require alternative accommodations than what was booked.
- Documenting in detail any guests who may have been relocated and what follow-up action should take place.
- Monitoring staff to ensure all guest contact is handled in a courteous and professional
manner. - Assisting front desk staff with concerns to ensure immediately resolution.
- Overseeing front desk operations in the absence of the Front Desk Manager during both AM and PM hours as needed.
- Being knowledgeable about current systems used at the front desk; report any irregularities to Front Desk Manager.
This is a full time position. Shifts will vary between 6:00am and 10:00pm, weekends and weekdays. Skills/Requirements - 3 years experience in a hotel/resort or customer service atmosphere
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
