Full-Time Franchise Commercial Portfolio Manager III (Req#2128)
Job Description
Under the direction of the Franchise Lending Team Leader, responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the team’s portfolio in conformance with established Bank policies, strategies and procedures.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Updates and reviews the financial status of the Borrower, Subject Property and the Guarantors, as applicable and accurately ratifies the “risk rating” of each account. The primary vehicle used to fulfill these responsibilities is the Annual Review process. Assists in responding to inquiries and requests of existing customers as directed by the applicable Lender.
- Performs portfolio maintenance including credit file updates, property inspections and support of the Lenders in the early detection of gathering issues/problems relating to existing extensions of credit, with recommendations of appropriate action of credit quality ratings, and remedial management.
- Provides continued support to the Bann’s Franchise lenders, including obtaining and analyzing industry financial information and surveys published by various trade organizations. Keeps abreast of developments and changing regulations within the franchise lending and general banking industry and ensures that the appropriate staff is informed and updated.
- Works with the Lenders to further develop relationship management and business development skills. Assists in the underwriting of new transactions and available for customer calls.
- Represents the Bank through participation in various community and industry activities. Actively promotes the interest of the Bank whenever possible.
- Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 5 to 7 years of experience in Commercial Lending, credit or related subjects.
- A minimum of three years experience in credit analyst work.
- Well-developed analytical, organizational, and interpersonal service skills.
