We are looking for a FP&A Analyst to join our growing finance team. This position will report to the Senior Director of Finance and work closely with members of the Senior Leadership team across the organization. A successful candidate will combine excellent analytical skills with an ability to work cross-functionally to help drive operational excellence and achieve Stash’s vision.
What you’ll do:
- Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, budget vs actual reviews and KPI / financial reporting analytics
- Work closely with leaders across the organization to develop budgets and translate key operational metrics into actionable guidance that assists with decision making
- Proactively identify areas for business improvement and produce persuasive, data-driven arguments to support good decisions
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and forecasts to help evaluate new opportunities as needed
- Create and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance organization
What we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years of finance and / or accounting experience
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting standards and financial statements
- Self-starter that is comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Pride in your attention to detail and organizational skills
- Top notch excel skills and modeling capabilities
- Experience with Netsuite
- Familiarity with SQL and managing large data sets
- Excellent communication skills
