Brescia University College campus is situated on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak, and Chonnonton Nation. Brescia is currently seeking an experienced dynamic individual to fill a position as:
FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT
Full time contract – Thursday – Monday (11:00 am – 7:30 pm – 40 hours)
Hourly rate – $16.55
October 2023 – April 30,2024
Receiving direction from the Hospitality Coordinator, Sous Chefs, FSA Supervisors and the Food Services Manager, primary responsibilities will include the assembly, preparation and serving of food and beverage products and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area.
Required skills include: knowledge of food services normally gained through experience in the food service industry; excellent customer service skills; attention to detail; strong interpersonal skills; ability to follow oral and written direction; knowledge of WHMIS and the Occupational Health & Safety Act and experience working on a cash register. Work may involve some heavy lifting and repetitive movements. A willingness to work flexible hours including some weekends and evenings will also be necessary.
