Full-Time Financial Planning Manager
Job Description
RM Recruit are working with an Oxfordshire Not for Profit to recruit a Financial Planning Manager for their finance function. This hybrid role (1 day per week in the office) will hold responsibility for all aspects of financial and operation performance reporting across the organisation and the review of the impact of decisions on longer term performance to support the business planning process. Your ultimate remit will be to present a range of financial reports and information to the Senior Management Team to support decision making and commercial direction.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Group Business Planning – supporting the Head of Finance to produce and continuously review the Group Business Plan. Assessing project and operating proposals against the business plan and co-ordinate the annual budget and quarterly forecast process across the Group
- Loans/Treasury – Monitor the Group’s cash flow and support the Treasury Accountant on all aspects relating to loan portfolio, security and Treasury requirements
- Financial Analysis/Value for Money – Review and oversee the production of the regular management information to the Board, Executive Team and a variety of budget holders. Development of value adding reporting to ensure key stakeholders understand all areas of finance across the organisation.
- Staff Management – Develop, lead and continuously improve and the Finance Business Partnering team.
- General – Ensuring monthly management accounts, statutory accounts and end of year audit are comprehensive, accurate and timely.
This role will have line-management responsibility for a team of 3 Finance Business Partners and will report into the Head of Finance. The organisation works on a hybrid model with one day per week required in the office. More time onsite may be required for specific meetings or project activity.
