Job Description
Experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant needed for a well established creative office whom are rapidly growing due to their success.
This Bookkeeper role is a permanent part -time opportunity for a candidate with a strong background within Bookkeeping and overseeing a portfolio of clients.
Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is suitable for an experienced candidate who can work well on their own initiative, with very confident bookkeeping skills and excellent attention to detail.
DUTIES of the role will include the following:
– To take full financial control of the company including:
– Bookkeeping
– Credit control
– Maintaining the cash flow forecast
– Payment runs in line with cash flow
– Filing of VAT returns and EC sales lists
– Year end statutory accounts and tax returns
– Monthly management accounts
– Companies House submissions
– Managing the payroll
REQUIREMENTS
– Candidate MUST come from a practice background – Minimum of 2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience
– Degree educated desirable
– ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
– Xero experience essential
– Knowledge of Receipt Bank desirable
– Proficient with Microsoft Excel
