Full-Time Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to do something new almost every day, such as supporting a wide range of analyses, summaries and presentations, including forecasting, report building and variance reporting.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing our leadership with accurate and timely financial data to use in their decision making.  The team you will be working with is fast-paced, dynamic, likes to have fun, and values financial reporting accuracy, ethical behavior, timely submissions, and continuous improvement.

So, what will you be doing as a Financial Analyst?

  • Responsible for analysis and reporting at a segment level to drive optimization, and to support global corporate requirements. This includes a review of actuals for the P&L, Balance Sheet, working capital and FCF.  Perform analysis on BU performance and assist in reporting to the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Perform several key tasks during the monthly planning cycle in the areas of pricing, volume, currency, revenue, costs, margin analysis, working capital inputs, projection reasonableness, etc. Compile and consolidate monthly forecasts from each BU.  Provide analysis of trends or key drivers.
  • Support BU and Executive Leadership requests for ad hoc reporting and analysis. Assist in financial analysis of acquisitions, divestitures, closures/consolidations, etc.
  • Ensure data provided by others is validated and vetted prior to inclusion in planning work. Work closely with the Segment Controller to ensure financial reporting accuracy and to identify and drive process improvements.
  • Develop financial models to support decision making within the business.
  • Present relevant data and summaries to functional areas throughout the organization to help explain results, changes, and impacts on potential scenarios.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience within a manufacturing environment and/or 3+ years of accounting experience, preference in manufacturing.
  • Ability to work on global teams, proficient verbal and written communication
  • Strong competency/fluency with Excel
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and building presentations
  • Broad understanding of financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and process
  • Ability to analyze multiple inputs, think critically, and creatively problem solve when data is either incomplete or ambiguous
  • Ability to form and communicate key insights to leadership
  • A self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • High integrity and ethical standards, and an ability to handle confidential information

We are look for someone in the Midwest section of the United States. This role would be hybrid with trips to the Corporate Headquarters in Carthage, MO at least quarterly, but potentially monthly for project work.
