Grow Your Client Base Free of Big Firm Restrictions

Grey Ledge Advisors is seeking an experienced financial advisor that is willing to work collaboratively within a client-first fiduciary environment. The ideal advisor will have experience with both developing new investment relationships while providing high level investment advisory services to their existing clients.

We are an RIA with a collegial and collaborative environment that provides planning and investment advisory services to individuals, charitable organizations, and businesses along the CT Shoreline. In addition to traditional portfolio management services, we also provide retirement plan construction and investment services, i.e., 401(k) and 403(b), to company sponsors and employee participants. Where appropriate, we also provide insurance solutions to certain clients.

As part of the GSB family, you will also share in a stream of over one hundred referrals per year from bank branches and have access to bank resources on your clients’ behalf that include: deposit services, business banking and cash management services, mortgage lending and commercial credit services. In addition to your own externally sourced clients you may also be assigned additional firm clients.

SKILL SET: Experience on the Fidelity and Schwab custody platforms helpful. Ability to work in a collaborative environment. Strong relationship and business development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate investment strategies to clients and prospects.

POSITION TYPE: This is a full-time on-site position. Potential office location flexibility between Branford and Old Saybrook, CT.

Compensation:

  • Market competitive salary based on experience.
  • Quarterly incentive bonuses based on new assets and total managed AUM.
  • Sign-on bonus and additional incentive bonuses at 6, 12, and 18 months based on new assets.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  Minimum of seven years of direct client management experience in a financial advisory environment.

EDUCATION & LICENSING: Bachelor’s degree (MBA or working toward MBA preferred). FINRA Series 65 license. CFP designation a plus. State insurance licensure a plus.
