Finance Manager
Yolk Recruitment is currently working with a global leader in heat treatments and specialist thermal processing services to find a Finance Business Partner for a company operating in 22 countries across diverse industries. As the FBP, you will play a pivotal role in the Surface Technology, Europe division, collaborating with multiple plants and interfacing with key stakeholders, including Operational and Sales VPs, General Managers, and Shared Service Centres.
What you will be doing as the Finance Manager:
Utilise advanced accounting, economic, and commercial skills to evaluate operating data, detect business trends, and prepare financial reports adhering to group requirements and accounting principles.
Review monthly financial statements, prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and conduct financial analyses as required, contributing to effective financial management.
Manage working capital and guide operating plants in preparing and implementing capital project requests, optimizing financial resources.
Operate internationally, collaborating with Shared Service Centres and plants across multiple countries to ensure accurate accounting entries during the closing process.
Provide accounting and analytical support for VPs of Operations and General Managers, contributing to informed decision-making.
Assist in monitoring and controlling all costs, fixed assets, and working capital components, ensuring financial stability.
Perform monthly and year-end close processes, conducting variance analysis for management and facilitating effective decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, both internal and external, to ensure proper mitigation of identified control gaps, contributing to a robust financial control environment.
What you will need as the Finance Manager:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
Minimum 3 years plus management and/or analytical experience
Well-developed Word processing, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
What you will get in return as the Finance Manager:
Salary: £60-75k dependant on experience
Eligibility to annual bonus up to 20% (combination of meeting divisional and personal targets)

Pension – match contribution from 4% – 10%
Life Assurance – 2 x annual salary rising to 4 x if join Company pension
