Full-Time Facilities Technician
Job Description
Position Summary: Facilities Technician is involved with maintaining facility sanitation standards and ensuring facility safety. This role will address non-chemical spills, discard trash, clean restrooms, vacuum and polish floors, maintain clean glassware, and perform general supply and stock management for the facility
Responsibilities:
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, corridors and other work areas throughout the facility.
- Frequent sweeping and scrubbing of the facility; and mopping of the floors;
- Vacuum and clean rugs and carpets;
- Clean restrooms regularly;
- Empty waste receptacles;
- Wash and dust windows, walls, and blinds;
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment and building at Facility Managers instruction;
- Maintain light bulbs, doors, and painting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Education: N/A
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience and working history that demonstrates stability and progressive responsibility.
- Experience providing cleaning or custodial services in a regulated environment preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Ideal candidate will have at least 1+ years of cleaning in a cannabis dispensary.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, time management & organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
- Great attitude with attention to detail
- Unquestioned integrity
- High energy with a desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
| Physical | Regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 30 pounds (100 pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching, and climbing ladders. Ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into dumpster or trash compactor). Employee must be able to fit and kneel in small spaces to clean, for example, restroom stalls and other tight areas.

| Hours & Conditions | Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Adapt schedule to work alongside the changing demands of the Dispensary. On a regular and recurring basis, the employee must alternate between contaminated/dirty environments to clean. Strong odors may be encountered while cleaning or removing trash for disposal. Potential for splash hazard, cuts, sticks, bumping and bruising exists from normal work. The work area can be noisy due to the rumbling of carts and operation of equipment. Work is generally conducted in heated and air-conditioned areas; however, employees must go outside to empty trash in dumpsters in all types of inclement weather. May be exposed to vibrations, dust, dirt, noise, fumes and chemicals.

| Other | Authorization to work in the United States, or the ability to obtain the same. Must obtain a State Agent Card. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Must pass all required background checks.
