Full-Time Facilities Program Coordinator II
Job Description
Job Summary
This Program Coordinator II (Project Coordinator) position reports to the Facilities Manager and Business Service Director. This position has no direct reports but works closely with many departments, vendors, contractors, and individuals while preforming their duties. This position will be responsible for project management of the Jail Remodel Project and other county remodel projects.
The Program Coordinator II is also the primary liaison between the Design Firm and the county. This position should have experience in project planning and development, cost estimating, coordinating work, and knowledge of working with trades such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and electronics.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Degree or equivalent experience relative to project and construction management.
Knowledge of: The principles and practices of project management, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and problem solving; application and interpretation of County, state and federal laws and regulations relevant to the program area; analysis and evaluation of policies, procedures, public information, and service delivery issues; local and state lawmaking processes; research methods and techniques; trends and practices within the specialized area; and personal computer applications and usage.
Ability to: Effectively recommend, coordinate, plan, and delegate program components; carry out policy directives of the governing authority in an effective and timely manner; write clear and concise reports, memoranda, and letters; analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and formulate recommendations; utilize various PC applications; interpret and explain policies, procedures, laws, and regulations; establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Other Special Requirements: This position will require a valid driver’s license, a successful criminal background check to enter the Jail, sheriff and Juvenile Facilities, and Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) testing to be passed before beginning.

Salary Grade: M2.820 $5,865.00 – $8,286.00- per month
