Job Description:
- Complete main campus courier runs in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process all 1st Class Mailings, pickup and deliver mail to USPS.
- Sort and process all incoming mail.
- Obtain daily deposits from Business Services and deliver to bank.
- Make off campus courier runs in a timely manner and in compliance with approved schedules.
- Deliver computer paper or other equipment as required. Empty shred bins as requested by departments.
- Unload incoming delivery vehicles with shipments for NWF State College. Use forklift to unload vehicles and to deliver equipment to appropriate locations.
- Inspect all incoming shipments for damage and check against purchase orders to ascertain that there are no discrepancies.
- Scan and log all vendor shipments received; shipments received by courier, Federal Express; Airborne Express; UPS; Freight deliveries and US Mail. Use online tracking system to record daily deliveries.
- Maintain log of all NWFSC employees for use with mail.
- Conduct vehicle preventive maintenance checks on a weekly basis.
- Cleanup office and warehouse as needed.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Answer inquiries by NWF State College personnel re: purchase orders, discrepancies, outstanding orders, and shipments.
- Assist with the receipting of completed purchase order on the NWF State College computer system.
- Process paperwork for incoming/outgoing shipments including.
- Provide delivery of requisitioned and purchased items to appropriate on and off campus departments and specified individuals.
- As a part of the college’s risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Central Services Manager and/or the Director of Physical Plant.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in office mailroom/receiving required.
- Experience in material handling/shipping/receiving desired.
- Must be able to safely handle bulk shipments up to 75 pounds, including books, cartons of paper, heavy equipment, etc.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.
- Must be bondable.
- Computer experience desired.
