The Role

As the Event Operations Lead, you will report directly to the Chief Digital Officer and General Manager and work in consultation with the Facilities team, Sound and Production Manager and Marketing team to bring events to life and deliver an engaging experience for the target audience.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the end-to-end organisation and operation of internal and external events
- Manage the event calendar, ensuring events are communicated and there are no clashes for space or resourcing
- Prepare run-sheets, conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings
- Conduct venue tours and site inspections for prospective customers
- Work with the marketing team and local precinct to promote events and campus facilities for hire
- Work collaboratively with external service providers such as caterers, cleaners and security
- Liaise with the Marketing team to manage the internal communications and signage for events on campus displays
- Be available to coordinate events during and after regular campus hours as reasonably required
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Proven skills in events operations
- Experience in front of house and reception duties
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to independently resolve issues using initiative and decision making
- Ability to work as a member of a team in the achievement of goals
- Familiarity with the music and entertainment management industry
- Experience in developing staff rosters
