Job Summary
Enterprise Software Engineer (7T) Contributes to the development and maintenance of integration technologies for enterprise systems. Assists in the coordination of short- and long-range planning, security and audibility of each assignment. May perform limited duties in project leadership and coordination, user interfacing, and overall coordination of technical resources. May perform technical problem solving, debugging and problem remediation. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Sr. Enterprise Software Engineer (8T) Helps lead the development and maintenance of integration technologies for a variety of enterprise systems. Assists in the coordination of short- and long-range planning, security and audibility of each assignment. May perform limited duties in project leadership and coordination, user interfacing, and overall coordination of technical resources. May perform technical problem solving, debugging, and problem remediation. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills.
Minimum Qualifications
Enterprise Software Engineer (7T) |
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years working with enterprise application systems.
- Minimum of 2 years advanced SQL experience working with relational databases and programming with Java or a similar object programming language.
- Minimum of 1 year integrating with third party APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
Sr. Enterprise Software Engineer (8T)
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years working with enterprise application systems.
- Minimum of 7 years advanced SQL experience working with relational databases and programming with Java or a similar object programming language.
- Minimum of 3 years integrating with third party APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
Enterprise Software Engineer (7T) –
- Experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools version 8.4 or higher (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI Publisher and Integration Broker).
- Familiarity with developing web services and web service-based client applications.
- 2 years of Java development.
- Experience with PeopleSoft’s Campus Solutions; a Blackboard Learning Management System, OnBase, Kronos or similar systems.
- Experience working in a Higher Education Environment.
Sr. Enterprise Software Engineer (8T) –
- Familiarity with developing web services and web service-based client applications.
- 3 years of Java development. Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI Publisher and Integration Broker), PeopleSoft’s Campus Solutions, Blackboard Learning Management System, OnBase, Kronos or similar systems.
- Experience working in a Higher Education Environment.

Enterprise Software Engineer (7T) –

- Ability to work in a team setting, collaborate, and communicate efficiently to enhance technology.
- Experience in analyzing and resolving any software issues and maintenance, software testing, and general programming.
- Ability to record and deliver information, explain procedures, and follow instructions.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, computer network, database systems and software development fundamentals.
- Ability to provide technical advice, support and troubleshooting to end users, documenting, implementing bug fixes or suggesting solutions and workarounds.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver results on time with high quality.
Sr. Enterprise Software Engineer (8T) –
- Ability to act as subject matter expert and lead and mentor junior to mid-level members of the team.
