This Employee Relations (ER) Specialist role sits in the EMEA ER team, and will be based in Manchester, UK.  Main requirements of the role are:

 

  • Able to respond to general employee relations inquiries and non-high risk ethics concerns autonomously or with limited guidance and direction from senior team members.
  • Experienced in conducting limited scope / lower-risk investigations with limited guidance and/or oversight of the senior team members.
  • May serve as partner to senior team members on complex or high-risk matters.
  • Experienced in managing end to end processes across a range of UK/Ireland employee relations cases, through to successful conclusion, with limited guidance/oversight by senior team members;
  • Ability to provide sound, appropriate and professional guidance to clients across a range of employee relations issues
  • Ability to support on EMEA and global policy development and other ad hoc employee relations projects;
  • Excellent communication skills to enable effective and pro-active partnering with clients, stakeholders and partners, including HR and Legal colleagues;
  • Be able to demonstrate sound employment law knowledge across:
  • UK – definitely
  • Ireland – preferably
  • Continental Europe – desirable
