Salary £35,034 per annum

Permanent – Full Time

We’re now looking for an Electrician to join our Property Care team and support the Electrical Manager and Electrical Qualifying Supervisor with the delivery of electrical repairs, cyclical maintenance, the electrical testing, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems to our unoccupied and occupied properties. You will be required to carry out the full range of general electrical repair and maintenance tasks along with installation and upgrade works as well as electrical testing and inspecting to occupied and unoccupied properties. As a member of our PropertyCare Electrical Team, you will be expected to provide the highest standards of customer service, and service delivery and performance.

We’d like you to…

  • Hold City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 and 2, NVQ Level 3 including AM2, City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 and 3, OR City & Guilds 2357 including AM2.
  • Hold City & Guilds 2382-18, 18th Edition Regulations (or be working towards this).
  • Hold City & Guilds 2391 (or show competence in Inspection & Testing electrical installations, in accordance with Guidance Note 3 of the IET 18th Edition wiring regulation.
  • Have proven post qualification experience, gained within a social housing environment.
  • Have experience of working on maintenance programmes with domestic occupied and unoccupied properties.
  • Be IT literate.
  • Be able to interpret manufacturers’ instructions/technical manuals and drawings.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Have experience of working with door entry and access control systems (desirable).
