SUMMARY OF WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Earthling Co. is looking for an exceptional Ecommerce Website Manager, a person who possesses an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of UX and Website Conversion Metrics. We are expecting you to be our Subject Matter Expert, and have a meticulous eye for detail, outstanding problem solving skills, and great writing skills. Top candidates will possess great attention to detail and excel at improving UX and other KPIs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage, own, and optimize all aspects of Shopify Plus platform (customers, tags, products, checkout flow, flows, apps, etc.)
  • Responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. You will manage the web developer to develop and alter the website as needed
  • Consistently monitor the website’s KPI’s and proactively recommend and implement front-end changes that improve: add to cart rate, conversion rate, AOV, cross sells, upsells, bounce rate, CX onsite, and more
  • Work closely with Customer Service to consistently optimize the customer’s onsite experience
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure alignment on the website with corresponding marketing campaigns and initiatives: Update site as needed for promotions and sales, making sure discount codes are scheduled and functioning properly, be the point of contact for troubleshooting onsite issues, etc
  • Work closely with the supply chain, product development and marketing teams to ensure the website is represented accurately for new product launch dates
  • Regularly conduct website audits to make sure all information in up to date and that website functionality is working as expected
  • Troubleshoot and repair any on-site bugs or issues
  • Manage our presence on other ecommerce marketplaces, such as: Amazon, Walmart, etc
  • Evaluate emerging e-commerce technologies and work with the leadership team to provide information on trends to determine where adoption of new technology is appropriate

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3+ years of ecommerce website management managing small to midsize ecommerce sites
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for and demonstrated excellence in e-commerce, website performance and branding
  • Passion and demonstrated experience in creating superior on-site customer experience
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strategic problem solver
  • Highly creative yet analytical and data-driven
  • Excellent communicator
  • Highly self-motivated and flexible with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • A “no task is too small or too large” type-of-attitude
  • Interest in and knowledge of sustainability and the zero-waste movement
  • Managerial or Project Management experience a plus
