Full-Time DTC e-Commerce Manager

Summary
The Direct to Consumer e-Commerce Manager, Grills, is responsible for developing strategies and leading planning and execution to
support the growth of Weber’s direct to consumer businesses in the U.S. This role will own category growth for grills and focus on site
merchandising, promotion planning and content development and optimization, with the goal of delivering a best in class user
experience for both shoppers and owners on Weber.com. Collaborating closely with the US & Global Marketing teams and agency
partners on creative development and inbound channel management, this position will own product detail, listing, collection and
brand/campaign pages, as well as menu, navigation and site search to drive traffic, conversion and average order value and encourage
repeat purchase.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Lead product assortment, promotion, content, SEO and merchandising strategy, planning and execution for assigned
products, with the goal of delivering a best in class user experience while meeting Weber’s business objectives.
 Develop and lead cross-functional execution of a rolling 12-month calendar, partnering with the US Marketing team to plan
and execute across inbound channels, including paid search, email and social. Ensure users experience the Weber brand in a
consistent, relevant and memorable way across multiple digital touchpoints.
 Write creative briefs for internal teams and agencies and manage delivery of digital assets (images, video, copy, etc.) for
product detail, listing, collection and brand/campaign pages to support user journeys, new product launches and brand and
promotional campaigns. Approve all assets and work with Associate Manager, DTC on go live planning and execution.
 Analyze site and business performance to identify actionable insights and build plans to drive increased traffic, optimize
conversion, increase average order value and grow attachment rates and units per transaction.
 Develop and manage execution of A/B test plan for content optimization. Recommend UX optimizations and work with
Global UX team to measure results and apply UX best practices. Make recommendations to Global UX and IT teams for new
& enhanced features, functionality and tech integrations.
 Provide DTC Analyst with input on new product and monthly forecasts and partner with the Strategy & Operations Manager
to monitor and maintain stock levels to effectively support item availability, new product launches, promotions, transitions of
discontinued items, etc. Assist in development of business cases for improvements & innovation in direct to consumer and ecommerce
operations, fulfillment, delivery and return offerings.
 Work closely with Marketing & Consumer Care teams to leverage Weber.com to increase opt-ins and product registrations
and measure and manage consumer lifetime value.
 Create and communicate weekly and monthly performance scorecards. Example KPIs: revenue, product mix, conversion rate,
average order value, units per transaction, attachment rate, new vs. repeat purchases, etc.
 Continuously scan consumer, brand, retail and competitive environment for DTC innovation and best practices and provide
team quarterly updates and recommendations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• 5+ years of e-commerce marketing and merchandising experience on a direct to consumer business with a brand or retailer,
with 2+ years directly managing an e-commerce storefront using Salesforce, Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce or similar
• Proficient in Google Analytics, with a working knowledge of Google Optimize
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or another related field
• Strong ownership mindset, cross-functional collaboration skills and a drive to deliver results
• Strong knowledge of digital technology landscape and tools
• Strong analysis, planning & financial acumen
• Passion for the constant evolution of e-commerce and how consumers are finding new ways to engage with brands
• Highly enthusiastic and hands-on business approach
• Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
