Job Description
GBD Architects Incorporated (GBD) is a 52-year-old, employee-owned corporation seeking applicants for a Drafter to join our team. We are comprised of 86 staff who view architecture design, urban planning, and interior design as a collaborative, inter disciplinary endeavor. The culture at GBD is warm, open, collegial, highly professional, and down to earth. We have a strong work ethic as well as an obvious passion for creating beautiful, responsible spaces that move and elevate people and respond to real human needs.
The position of Drafter is a role that supports the production efforts of GBD’s design and technical staff. The primary responsibility is to support specific architectural and interior design project team needs with a variety of scales, project types and help streamline GBD’s workflow.

REPORTS TO + COORDINATES WITH:
GBD Staffing Coordinator / BIM Manager and team / Project Managers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Exposure to architectural design, drafting or engineering
Strong fundamental understanding and/or proficient with Revit Architecture
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to use time productively and meet deadlines
Proficient with PC hardware and MS Windows environment
Self-starter and possesses drive to continually improve skills
Ability to work well as part of a team and/or independently
Optional- Fundamental understanding of AutoCAD, Sketchup, Enscape
Optional- Experience in a professional environment
