Full-Time Donor of Pipeline Development
Job Description
Essential Duties
Director:
- Oversee both Annual Giving and pipeline development (DXO program)
- Annually define and monitor activity metrics, fundraising outcomes, and pipeline growth targets for both Annual Giving and DXO program.
- Supervise monthly and quarterly touchpoint cadences (averaging 30+ outbound touchpoints per day) across portfolio to ensure consistent and relevant donor communication.
- Track industry best practices in technology and programs related to annual giving and pipeline development.
- Manage and maximize Evertrue cloud platform, social media platforms, and video conferencing software tools to build rapport, steward, and solicit donors in an alumni centric, targeted, high-velocity manner.
- Creates strategic performance plans to support the objectives of the UW foundation and the Annual Giving Team and DXO program.
- Leads the strategy development and implementation for increasing recurring giving.
- Serves as the strategy lead for critical initiatives and populations that cut across all channels. This includes expanding our efforts with stewardship, recurring giving, leadership and annual giving, student and recent alumni engagement and giving, giving day, crowdfunding, etc.
Annual Giving Team:
- Mentors and builds the Annual Giving Team with project management, time management, and maintaining high quality deliverables to stakeholders.
- Serves as an experienced leader on the annual giving team, stepping in when needed to help solve a problem, build strategy, and develop a tactical plan.
- Assists the Annual Giving team with data-driven decisions and analysis.
- Collaborates with all members of the team to explore new ideas and technologies.
- Ensures that the annual giving team is up to date on trends within the team through trainings, continuing education opportunities and hands on experience.
- Maintains quality oversight by conducting regular reviews of team members work to evaluate for accuracy and overall delivery of services and customer experience. Provide regular feedback to ream members and coach for improvement.
- Manage operational requirements for projects – scheduling, assigning, and designing operational procedures.
- Collaborate with members of the Information Services team to maintain bi-directional dataflow processes.
- Uphold data integrity across multiple platforms (Advance CRM, EverTrue, SalesLoft, etc.) by maintaining and enforcing data entry policies and best practices.
- Work with various vendors and the Information Services team to ensure the security of the Foundation’s data.
- Actively engage with the DXO team, the Prospect Development team, and applicable external partners to maintain clear, meaningful metrics for the DXO team.
Campus Collaboration:
- Schedules and meets with campus constituents to strategize, plan and implement changes and processes to Annual Giving.
- Represents the Annual Giving office to all people from across the campus, speaking confidently to the entire suite of outreach activities originating with the team and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders.
- Coordinates and collaborates with constituents to help inform and guide annual giving activity.
- Liaises with the campuses to:
- Ensure effective and efficient communications between system and campus
- Develop strategies for direct response outreach to campus constituencies
- Assist and guide leadership annual giving program growth
- Manage and mentor DXO partnerships with campus collaborators.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education or 10 years or more experience in Annual Giving or Donor Pipeline Development
- Professional knowledge of fundraising
- Previous management or supervisory experience

- Experience leading a program from concept and strategy to execution and analysis
- Experience securing buy-in and support from stakeholders
- Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency using professional software technology.
- Experience with customer relations management software
