Summary
The Donor Coordinator supports donor program operations including completion and review of reports, metrics, and GDP/GMP paperwork, donor station opening or closing tasks, donor communication and scheduling, greet incoming donors and guests, wipe-down of donor restrooms, and additional duties as assigned. This position will provide coverage to the Donor Program for 37.5 hours per week.
- The hours for this position are Monday – Thursday 11am-7pm & Friday 9am-5pm with occasional weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Follow cGMP requirements – ensure activities are performed following written procedures and report infractions to Manager.
- Oversight of Donor Station including monitoring and performance of ID checks, donation receiving, cleaning activities, and flow of people through the facility.
- Order test and review test results following written procedures with careful attention to detail and cGMP requirements.
- Effectively communicate donor appointments for screening and orientation visits, blood draws, etc.
- Presence at the front door including reception and greeting of donors and visitors, notifying personnel when visitors arrive, and directing deliveries to the appropriate place.
- Support closing or opening the donor station as scheduled.
- Collaborate across multiple departments, including Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Marketing.
- Prepare and review daily and weekly forms, reports, and metrics.
Qualifications
- 2-year Associates degree or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience in a controlled, regulated work environment, cGMP experience a plus.
- Current certification or related job-experience required for phlebotomy and nasopharyngeal swabbing. (preferred)
- Experiences with reports and controlled documents.
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize issues.
- Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Follow through on tasks.
- Ability to read, understand, follow and comply with technical and written documents (SOP’s).
