Full-Time Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead
Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, the DEI Lead will work closely with the I&D Advisory Board, Human Resources team, leaders and associates across all departments, external contacts including DEI-partnership organizations, to assist in implementing and advancing Cable One’s DEI strategy. This role will be responsible for proactively developing actionable project plans and collaborating to execute relevant programs, events, training, and other initiatives to foster equitable, inclusive, and diverse workplace.
What this position does to contribute to the Company’s success
- Proactively assist in the planning and implementation of all aspects of diversity-related programs and events.
- Maintain inclusion and diversity programs and events calendar. Assist the team in tracking and reporting on the status of projects.
- Work closely with the Manager of DE&I on the collection, analysis, and benchmarking of diversity data, industry trends, and other related information including the creation of quarterly reports.
- Manage diversity-related communications, maintain content on Cable One’s intranet, and update the inclusion and diversity-related marketing materials.
- Assist in preparing and distributing meeting summaries and engage in other follow-up tasks as needed.
- Conduct on-going research for DEI programing strategies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Assist with budget planning and expense tracking, and prepares budget summaries and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments on inclusion and diversity-related initiatives and activities.
- Coordinate and periodically attend internal and external community outreach efforts when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space required.
- Some prior knowledge of principles, methods, and tools of diversity, equity, and inclusion required.
- Passion for diversity, Equity, and inclusion and desire to foster greater inclusivity within the company required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Demonstrated cross-cultural competencies, including emotional intelligence and ability to engage and build relationships required.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and video conferencing; comfortable adopting to new technology required.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) a plus.
