We’re hiring a District Sales Manager Combo for the Mount Pocono territory.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for driving shareholder value through the maximization of market share, sales, and profits. Effectively lead trade execution through the management of field personnel within designated territory.
- Full responsibility for sales execution in all local, regional and national small and large store home market accounts within assigned territory.
- Responsible for the execution of all sales priorities, e.g., RED, SMO.
- Understand P&L and manage budgets.
- Responsible for identifying and developing core talent at an Account Manager level.
- Coach and develop the team of direct reports while ensuring a culture of learning and development exists throughout the small and large store selling organization.
- Spend a lot of time leading, teaching, and coaching.
- Responsible for relationships with small and large home market accounts serving as the connection point with Sales Area leadership in operations.
- Regular interaction with store level and local chain leaders.
- Accountable for selling in and adherence to calendar marketing agreements. Provide feedback to the national customer teams.
- Represent Company in local government/community forums, as needed, on issues that impact our business.
- Provide inspirational leadership and ensure execution of all engagement initiatives (e.g., Town Halls) across the designated geographic territory to drive strong employee engagement.
- Complies with all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in consumer products/direct store delivery sales; packaged goods experience preferred; Some beverage experience an asset.
- Experience managing people/budgets. Three (3) or more years supervising sales staff.
- Good computer skills; MSOffice, SAP strongly preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Must be able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-priority team environment
- Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
- Periodic bending, kneeling, pulling, and/or lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing.
