Our current Distribution Manager started as an hourly Merchandiser years ago. In addition to furthering his education, (we have tuition reimbursement), he worked his way up into the supervisor ranks. He was then promoted to the Distribution Manager role and will now be running his own facility.

It’s a cool job too if you like interacting with people, reaching goals, and growing business. You’ll be responsible for day to day activities of directing, controlling and coordinating all phases of the Distribution operations (8MM cases or more).
- Liaison between distribution center and sales center management to ensure timely and accurate deliveries in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Manage execution of day to day Distribution operations within parameters of both labor and other operating expense budgets.
- Assist in the selection, supervision, and development of subordinate personnel.
- Assist in the establishment, analysis and submission of annual departmental budgets.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with Sales Center(s) and all other departments to achieve goals and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to Company standards and policies in addition to all regulatory requirements.
- Support and implement Company initiatives to achieve performance, quality and safety metrics.
- Proactively improve process functioning and strive for enhanced levels of efficiency. Ensure the safeguard and security of Company assets.
- Work with Sales Center for planning and forecasting of volume.
- Maintain safety and quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who wants to work with the worlds most trusted and iconic brands. We need a strong communicator with great planning and organizational skills.
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred; five or more years’ Supply Chain/Operations supervisory or management experience (which includes Distribution and Fleet responsibilities) in a related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 8+ years previous Supply Chain/Operations management experience (which includes Distribution and Fleet responsibilities) in the beverage or related industry preferred.
- Prior experience in union environment. Hands on Manager who can operate with limited direction.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL preferred.
- Must have knowledge of D.O.T. rules and regulations, i.e., Drug and Alcohol Awareness.
- Excellent customer service skills; good communication and computer skills; strong mathematical and problem-solving skills needed.
- Must have general knowledge of the franchise area.
