As the Director of People Partners & Talent, you will play a key role on the People leadership team with responsibility for leading several critical People functions including the domestic People Business Partner and Talent Acquisition functions. This position is highly consultative, influential and will require tight collaboration with other People team leaders and executive management. This role will have a heavy focus on performance strategy, organizational design and leadership development with the ultimate goal of building a stronger GoPro business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the GoPro domestic People Business Partner and Talent Acquisition functions, leading a high-caliber, business-focused team to support attracting, hiring, developing and retaining top talent
  • Work with SLT (Senior Leadership Team) on talent and organization development strategies, and lead BP team in adapting and executing department-level support
  • Deeply understand business priorities, helping your team articulate how people levers help drive business outcomes
  • Coach and support business stakeholders and business partner team in solving for both short- and long-term people-related issues, including organizational design and change management
  • Support L&D to develop and deliver educational and experiential offerings to support performance management, manager effectiveness and leadership excellence
  • Design and implement standardized talent acquisition capabilities as a trusted business partner to hiring managers, recognizing the need for efficient but effective processes and tools in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify talent needs or gaps across the organization, and implement recruitment programs to find top tier talent
  • Support a metrics-based approach to ensure hiring plan is achieved efficiently, creating benchmarks for taking a data-driven approach to quickly identify and solve future pain points
  • Work with the VP, People & Places and Inclusion, Diversity and Cause Business Partner to support the company’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy
  • Invest in our culture, advocate for our employees, and inspire with our values

 Skills We’re Stoked About:

  • 5+ years of People Leadership experience, leading HR Business Partner and/or Recruiting functions
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Partner or Talent Acquisition professional
  • Experience partnering with and influencing senior leaders to help drive their people strategies and increase business outcomes
  • Experience in a global environment with a distributed team and international offices, a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify metrics and data to back up your strategy, programs and ideas
  • Proven track record of building and improving employee experience
  • Intellectual curiosity, a deep growth mindset, and the desire to constantly improve
  • Strong empathy and change management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree preferred
