Job title:   Business Development Director

Salary range:    £66,037 – £73,898

Type of contract:   Permanent

Location:   London, Hybrid

Working hours:   Full time, 35 hours a week/ part time to be considered

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Business Development to join our team. This position is based in the Finance and Commercial Directorate and answers to the Executive Director – Finance and Commercial. You will be responsible for leading the Business Development and Events teams to deliver sustainable income through innovation partnerships and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the business development, events and commercial activities, identify opportunities for new product and service, and develop effective and collaborative partnerships.
  • Drive commercial income of the building at 10 Union Street, RCOG brand and other College’s intangible assets.
  • Create and deliver a short and long term product and service strategy.

About you

This position is well-suited to an inquisitive and goal-driven person who is looking to lead and develop high performing teams and create innovative ways to grow and diversify RCOG’s income.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering and generating commercial income through innovation.
  • Experience of managing or supervising people to maintain quality and high delivery standards.
  • An ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, internally and externally.
