Full-Time Director Infrastructure & Support
Job Description
The Director, Infrastructure & Support is the leader accountable for IT infrastructure, support operations, and security for ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, LLC reporting to the VP, Information Technology. Our services include territory wide networking, identify and access management, communications, IT security, compliance and partnering with our central IT organization (Coke One North America – CONA) that provides our major application support, which is utilized the largest 12 bottlers in North America.
This position is responsible for:
The IT Infrastructure and network – ensuring stable and secure operation of the organization’s infrastructure. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, including but not limited to security management, network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.
Managing the Support Team and directing activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and appropriate fashion while working closely with the senior management team and business units to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of network, telecommunications, systems, applications and data center services.
- Work closely with the CIO, Directors in IT and other key leaders in the business, to plan, strategize and ensure key initiatives are developed and completed.
- Closely align and partner with representatives of our central IT organization (CONA) and the Coca-Cola Company to ensure compliance with their requirements. Establish tight partnerships and relations with CONA to ensure we are influencing the needs of ABARTA in their initiatives and to ensure that we’re supporting CONA as well and communicating the changes to our associates and ensuring they are educated and prepared.
- Working with the business/IT leaders, set direction and vision for support for third-party, on premise, and cloud applications and services.
- Advance the use of effective communication strategies to ensure the business understand the key initiatives that IT is undertaking, the benefits associated with them and the impact to any associates as a result of those efforts.
- Identify opportunities for improvements, expansions, and/or reduction of services that meet the changing needs of the business over time.
- Hire, supervise, develop, evaluate, mentor and coach staff. Cultivate an environment of continual learning and growth for group members.
- Develop, track and control the information technology operating and capital budgets for the areas of infrastructure and support.
- Assist in the analysis and evaluation of cost recovery, cost/benefit and other quality management/assessment approaches for IT services.
- Designs and implements medium and long-term strategic plans to make certain network and server capacity meets present and future requirements.
- Develop and implement a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
- Manages project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Maintains a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for the company’s production systems and applications. Continually review the plan to ensure it adapts to the changing business needs. Conduct roundtable exercises and periodic testing to the plan and it’s supporting solutions to ensure we can put the plan into action if/when needed.
Qualifications:
- Four-year university degree or college diploma required, preferably in the field of computer science or other related academic fields.
- 15+ years of experience in IT delivery, Service Desk, IT services, cybersecurity, and professional services environments.
- Experience and knowledge of service and application delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.
- Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Office 365, Core Switching/Routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN, Virtualization, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery.
- Critical thinking, persuasion/negotiation, conflict resolution, mentoring and staff development, leadership/management, problem solving, and human resource policies and procedures relating to management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills.
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation.
