Job Description
It’s exciting times at Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as we continue to deliver a world class digital infrastructure and connectivity programme across our City Region. This programme includes our Joint Venture – LCR Connect, which is supported by a number of key workstreams focused on Digital Skills, Digital Inclusion, wireless technology and further digital infrastructure development. With so much happening there has never been a better time to join the Combined Authority.
As we continue to grow our capabilities and expand the team, we have a number of challenging and rewarding roles that would suit enthusiastic, skilled individuals who share our passion to ensure everyone has access to digital services and connectivity. This role is located in our award winning Major Projects Team and will deliver alongside other mayoral priority projects, working closely with our Local Authority partners. This role will play a significant part in helping to accelerate digital infrastructure delivery, pioneering initiatives and specific programmes of work across the Liverpool City Region.

As a Project Manager, you will have responsibility for all aspects of the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of the project(s) you are assigned, and you will be required to report progress to the relevant governance groups, tracking delivery on time, to budget and agreed quality standards. You will possess knowledge on, and understand the role of local government in digital connectivity.
The location of this role will be based in the Liverpool City Region and delivered under a hybrid working model to provide ultimate flexibility.
