Part-Time Digital Marketing Manager
Job Description
Starting Salary: $25-$30/hour with potential to grow
Salary will be dependent on experience and location (cost of living). This is a 25-30 hours/week remote position with no benefits. The Digital Marketing Manager will begin as a private contractor. Initial contract will be for 3-months with possibility for extension after review. We support a flexible schedule to meet staff needs. Majority of team meetings happen during the working week and we will on occasion request availability on weekends when needed.
About the Role
The Digital Marketing Manager will be in charge of leading our company’s marketing efforts in line with our co-architects’ vision. This role will co-develop and hold all marketing strategies, processes and execution. You will serve as the primary creator and disseminator of social media and email communication for MNDFL3O’s ongoing and upcoming programs as well as owning the brand and websites.
The right person for this role will have a high level of attention to increasing network engagement, brand engagement, and voice consistency. This person is responsible for planning, creating, and distributing timely communications, and will be cultivating the public for deeper engagement with MNDFL3O’s work. Community and practice are very much at the center of what MNDFL3O offers and the right person will be fully aligned with this.
The Digital Marketing Manager will collaborate with other departments within MNDFL3O, thus this role is ideal for someone who already has an understanding of MNDFL3O’s programs and offerings. Responsibilities
M3O’s work is within an exciting stage with many moving pieces. The following duties are subject to change as the flux and flow of M3O’s projects evolve. Many of the duties are the right fit for someone who can work on them collaboratively but does not need oversight.
Coverage Areas
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and developing the following areas:
- Branding, ability to stick with the brand rather than coming up
- Website (mndflmeditation.com & mndflcertification.com)
- Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Clubhouse)
- Digital Events (Webinars/Info Sessions, Q&A Sessions, Mixers, etc.)
- Email (Newsletters, Drip Campaigns, etc.)
- SEO – conversant, but comfy dipping into software and learning and picking up; analytics, A/B testing, evidence based approach
- Paid Ads – conversant, but comfy dipping into software and learning and picking up; analytics, A/B testing, evidence based approach
- Marketing Materials (Guides, Decks, etc.)
Process Development
- Work with M3O team to establish systems, processes, and protocols for an efficient and supportive marketing and communications ecosystem ensuring flow of relevant information internally and externally
- Communicate with core staff, Creative support, Web Developer and external marketing teams towards the goal of establishing and improving media distribution throughout MNDFL3O’s project & program ecosystem.
- Develop standard operating procedures and protocols (SOPs) for MNDFL3O posts and email distribution
- Develop SOPs for website content library additions/edits
Content and Media: Creation, Engagement & Posting
- Draft letters, emails, social posts, correspondence, guidebooks, templates and other marketing materials
- Build style guide for content distribution across platforms
- Work with Creative Support to creative relevant graphics
- Conversant with blog content and can pick up with existing team members
- Review copy across multiple projects for general voice and tone
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategy and manage regular content schedule for email and social media platforms:
- Weekly, monthly and/or quarterly newsletter development for MNDFL @Work and MNDFL Certification & Training Programs
- Evergreen email drip campaigns
- Email & Social Campaigns leading up to events, launches or general movement development
- Measure growth & performance and provide regular analytics reports
Media Curation
- Review and timestamp content that is extracted from webinars, videos, audio, etc.
- Recommend worthy topics and content for production or editing
- Extract blurbs and quotes from content within MNDFL3O programs

Qualifications
- Have led a marketing team either internally or across external agency teams
- Have established workflows, timelines and processes for marketing materials, editorial proofing, content creation and/or another marketing-related project/department
- Self-starter who can work independently without oversight as well as collaboratively with a team
- Highly organized and encourages company-wide organization
- Excellent oral & written communicator
- Comfortable with language of mindfulness and meditation
- Able to plan, self-manage, and re-prioritize as needed to meet deadlines
- Emotionally intelligent & self-aware
- Detail-oriented and able to step back & see the big picture
- Comfortable giving & receiving constructive feedback
- Able to work with a distributed and remote team
- Experience using project management tools (Monday.com, Google Drive, Asana, JIRA, etc.)
- Savvy in social media tactics, SEO, and analytics
- Experience with using social media analytics to track engagement and integrate analytics into ongoing communications work
- Can plan, compose, and manage posts across multiple channels
- Strong experience with Mailchimp
- Savvy with Kajabi (or another online learning platform with email feature), Typeform (and/or other survey/form tool), Canva (and/or another content creation app)
- Prior experience with Marketing & Funnel Building
- Responsive to requests from MNDFL3O directors and team for timely communications sharing
- Awareness of trends and movements of meditation and wellness field
- Experience with establishing and maintaining editorial brand identity
