£21,942 to £22,470 per annum, pro rata
18.5 hours per week
The working pattern is to be confirmed at appointment

This is a new opportunity to join a dynamic team and deliver and support Digital computing students on their courses as a technician/instructor with the potential of some teaching hours as well.
The Digital Transition course and T Level courses are new and exciting technical qualifications that combine classroom learning, in our brand-new Digital learning labs, and on the job experience during a unique industry placement. These courses will help young people to fast track their career and help them to get to the next level giving them a head start and you can be part of their journey and make a real difference.
Ideally, as technician/instructor you can support and maintain the digital equipment and resources, should have experience of working in the following industry areas and/or have the ability to teach some/all of the specialisms listed below (or be willing to learn them):
Core Software development languages;
Python
HTML and CSS
Javascript
PHP/MySQL
The ability to teach the following specialisms is considered desirable:
Problem solving
Intro to programming
Emerging issues and impact of digital
Legislation and regulatory requirements
Business context
Data
Digital environments
Security
We also value industry experience and for the right candidate, training opportunities are available within the College to gain your Award in Education and Training Level 3 (AET), within your first year of joining the College.
