Full-Time Digital Communications Officer
Job Description
Salary – £21,896 – £25,813 per annum (depending on experience)
British Swimming is seeking a Digital Communications Officer to join our Events & Communications team based in Loughborough, reporting to the Communications Manager.
The purpose of the role is to pro-actively deliver day-to-day digital communications, supporting the delivery of the wider marketing and communications strategy. The Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for executing our communications output across web and digital, promoting our key aquatics sports both day to day and around major national and international events.
The individual will have knowledge and experience in the area of digital communications, PR and website management, ideally within a sporting setting. They will have a successful track record of delivering social growth and engagement and be able to show creativity and innovation in showcasing our sports.
The post holder is required to have excellent communication and organisational skills with a flexible approach to working, an ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, as well as being able to work well as part of a small team.
Knowledge of aquatic sports and experience of working within government funded organisations would be advantageous.
