The role: The DevOps Manager is responsible for creating and managing the execution of Groups360’s DevOps strategy. The DevOps Manager will ensure first-rate software deployments and increase the overall condition, availability, security, validity, and performance of Groups360 business systems.

What you will do: 

• Responsible for the service delivery, systems reliability, and scalability for the Groups360’s operations systems, integrations systems, development systems, cloud infrastructure and automation framework.

• Implement the DevOps roadmap and measure success with key performance indicators with Engineering Managers.
• Partner with the Software Engineering Management Team on deployment of software, maintaining, troubleshooting, resolving issues and improving deployment process and systems.
• Design and implement innovations that improve software velocity, infrastructure resilience, security, and data availability.
• Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, and monitoring.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to recognize and resolve issues and provide professional guidance for enhancements, development, and operational improvements.

• Determine gaps or issues in the performance of all systems through monitoring, alert management, reporting and process reviews
• Manage and ensure compliance with IT structures, processes and technologies while maintaining knowledge of and leverage IT industry technologies and trends.

Education and experience: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• 8 + years Information Technology experience.
• 5 + years’ experience in Infrastructure, Network, DevOps, and IT operations.
• 1 – 3 years management experience.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, GIT, SVN, Jenkins, JIRA, Rally, Terraform, Puppet/Chef Vagrant, Selenium.
• Must have experience with more than one of the following scripting languages such as Chef, Puppet, PowerShell, Ruby, Python, Shell Script, or JavaScript.

• Deep understanding and direct working experience with CI/CD pipeline using multiple SDLCs.
• AWS experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix.

• Excellent verbal, written and group communication and presentation skills; ability to utilize communication skills to effectively influence across functions and business units as well as across different leadership levels.
• Excellent organizational & analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven and execution-oriented personality, ready to take ownership and get results.
• Strong empathy for customers and a passion for revenue and growth.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint.

• Other qualifications as required.

Core Business Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. M-F, HYBRID; these hours may vary depending upon your position and work requirements.

Status: Full-time, Exempt

Location: Brentwood, TN, HYBRID (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
