Full-Time DevOps Engineer (Must be based in UK)
Job Description
DevOps Engineer – Must be based in UK – Salary Range: £50,000 – £65,000
We (a group of ~20 in 3 countries looking to disrupt the way products are engineered and made) are looking for a dev-ops engineer with a proven track record in planning, deploying and maintaining high availability web applications, that is ready to take the next step up in their career.
Authentise provides SaaS applications to support manufacturing operations globally, with a strong focus on the additive manufacturing industry. Our international team supports multiple cloud based services alongside on-site installations in customer facilities. You will have a proven track record in maintaining and supporting scalable kubernetes clusters, and be able to demonstrate that you can walk the tightrope of high-availability and sensible cost overhead.
As one part of this role you will be working directly with Amazon managing and deploying our application directly into their corporate cloud, so your AWS skills will have to be top notch.

Must Have:
- 2-4 years of experience in devops engineering roles
- Demonstrable experience of kubernetes deployment/management in EKS or ECS
- Demonstrable knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines
- Experience running a ‘Guest SaaS’ running in a peer cloud
- Ansible/Terraform skills essential
- Excellent Linux/Unix skills
Bonus points for:
- RDBMS lifecycle experience
- Postgres preferred
- Alembic / Django-Migration experience
- Deployment/management/maintenance of on-site services
- Experience of additional AWS deployment tools/services
- CodeBuild
- CodeDeploy
- Lambda
- Experience or interest in 3D printing and manufacturing

Although primarily a remote position, the successful candidate will be expected to travel to the London office on a semi-regular basis (one day every 2 or 3 weeks).
