Full-Time Development Manager (Trusts/ Foundations)
Job Description
Are you passionate about storytelling, bid writing, relationship building, meeting targets and changing lives? Would you like to use your extensive experience of Trust and Foundation (T/F) bid writing and stewarding significant funders to drive Create’s fundraising strategy?
The Development Manager (T/F) will use their mastery of the English language and persuasive communication skills to raise and manage funds within the Development team. This is a key position for the charity, which has seen its fundraising increase significantly in recent years, as Create fulfils its ambitious plans to double its reach by its 25th anniversary in 2028.
The Grants team is responsible for securing over 60% of the charity’s income, managing an extensive portfolio of current funders, approaching a well-researched pipeline of potential funders, and researching prospects. The successful candidate will have a passion and flair for great narrative, an exceptional command of the written word, outstanding organisational skills and an unstoppable drive to make a difference.
Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
